Karen invited me to her parents' home in Baerum, Norway. As the map indicates, Baerum is due west of Oslo only a few miles. While there she took me
to see the "Kon Tiki" exhibit (Thor Hyerdahl's famous Viking reinactment of sailing reed-built boar from the Easter Islands to Hawaii), the "Long Ship Museum" and other very interesting sites. I did enjoy myself immensely all the while I knew "I wasn't in Kansas anymore" as her folks didn't give it a second thought that I was sleeping with their daughter just a few meters away from their own rooms...
Later I bought Mercedes 190SL and the thoughtful German arranged for me to take his car back to his mechanics in Dusseldorf for a complete overhaul. For company, I invited my Norwegian girlfriend, Karen Hansen, for a long week-end.
We were arriving in Paris about dusk and Karen asked that we stop by "Le Select", a Montparnasse bistro, http://www.leselectmontparnasse.fr/, to look for her girlfriend, Urie.
We saw her. And sitting next to her was the MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN I have ever seen!
As it turned out, her name was, Agneta Pedersen, and she was Swedish. I never saw Karen again...
