Loading... was a 1949 Chrysler 4-Door Sedan for $45.00 which had "Fluid-Drive", a semi-automatic transmission. The car behaved in an odd manner as it would always drop to a lower-gear with every left turn.
It also became my mobile home - I moved out of the house sometime in early '61 and lived out of this car for several weeks. I got a job as a "Soda-Jerk" at "Belvedere Pharmacy".
Little did I know that I would buy "Camp David" 19 years later and only 6 blocks away... My Third Car
