Marvin McBride, aged 54 years, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday near Pleasant Hill. He had been working at the Tanner sawmill.
He's suffered from asthma for some years, and also had high blood pressure.
He leaves a wife; 2 daughters, Mrs Pearl Elmore, Pomona; Mrs Belle Presley, Cedar Hill; 4 sons, Lester, McMinnville; Brady, address unknown; Vergil, Cumberland Homesteads; Lawrence, McEwin; his mother, Mrs John McBride, Pomona; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Burial was at Pomona cemetery 2 p.m. Wednesday.
