Lella Otis Griffin Brown (1906-1994)
My mother, Lella Otis Griffin is on the right in the picture and her younger sister Frances Elizabeth (Griffin) Pearce is on the left. The picture was probably taken after Mother/Lella graduated from Mary Hardin Baylor College for Women in Belton, Texas in 1928. This is one of my favorite pictures of Mother. Picture was taken at the home of Hale Noah Griffin and Mexie (Mathis) Griffin in Coleman, Coleman County, Texas.
On the right: Lella, mother of Dan, Don, Doris, Dale, and Dwane Brown.
