- Comments (The Hennessee Family Genealogy Pages): What a wonderful page. I have become very interested in genealogy in the past few months and have traced what I thought was my "white bread" English/German family (central PA) back to the Gascoignes, Percies, Stricklands just to name a few. I have taken a newfound interest in British history. Found your page while researching Gawthorpe Hall. Some of these families have become confusing, probably because they are all named William and Henry for generations. Hoping your website will help me clear the cobwebs out of the lineage.
