Hello, My husband is the great great great grandson of Robert Sargent. I am looking for death and burial info on him. Do you have a copy of any type of death info--an obit or a death record? The death date I have for him is 1872, which is different from what you have. The 1872 date is from a letter written by his son Clement from his first marriage to Anna Eunice Massett (who died in 1843 in England). I had found Mary's burial info from findagrave.com and know that they lived near McMinnville on 50 acres according to Clement's letter. I am interested in any information you have on his death, burial, etc. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have a call in to the Magness Library in McMinnville as they have burial info for all the area cemeteries and may have something on his burial location. I will share anything I find out from them with you.

Description: I now believe that the year for Robert's death of 1877 is correct. In the letter that I quoted from, the 7 looked like a 2 but it apparently is not.
Also, I have made contact with a descendent of Mary Reynolds who has handwritten notes that were given to her with the information that Robert Sargent is buried at Liberty Cemetery near Viola, Tennessee.
