SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC Probate Court, 1836 (file 375 SC Archives) and (Equity Court, Box 21, Pkg 3) give us the names of the children of John & Rebecca (if she was his one and only wife) Turner;
1. Samuel b-abt 1757, d-bef 1836. He left 7 children; William, John, Mathias, Elias, James, Samuel and Polly wife of Benjamin Price. All residing out of state in 1836.
2. William b-abt 1759, d-bef 1836. He left six children; Jemimy (Jemima) wife of Jno. Parris, Polly wife of Henry Greer/Green/Gunn?, Rebecca wife of Mr. Starrs, Robert, Elizabeth and William. All residing out of state in 1836.
