- McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wilma Joyce Hennessee, age 72, was born August 9, 1937 and died December 23, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of Earlyville Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Velma Bales Starkey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Violet Barrett and brother, Bill Starkey.
She was married 53 years to Morris Hennessee of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley Wendell and Margaret Hennessee of Murfreesboro, TN and Mark Anthony and Denise Hennessee of Grundy County, TN; four grandchildren, Lindsey Hennessee, Steven Hennessee, Jonathan Hennessee and Kimberly Hennessee; three brothers, Alford Starkey, Clifford Starkey and Hugh Starkey and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2009 in High's Chapel with Johnny Lance officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery. [1]
