75 year old Emogene Cantrell Snow of Smithville died Monday at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Effie Hale Cantrell; her husband Wiley Snow; and a brother, Harold Cantrell.
Survivors include six children, Brenda and her husband Donald Puckett, Joyce and her husband Jimmy Poss, Deborah and her husband Kenneth Magness, Denise and her husband David Rutland, Dwain and his wife Cathy Snow, and Jeanna Bain all of Smithville. Fifteen grandchildren,
Shawn, Randall, and Brian Puckett, Tony Poss, Tonya Hattaway, Kenderly Cripps, Ryan and Nathan Magness, D.J. Rutland, Trista Armour, Eric and Andy Snow, Misty Gingerich, T.J. Bain, and Dalton Bain all of Smithville. Fifteen great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren survive along with a brother and his wife, Charles Lowe and Betty Cantrell of Smithville. Three sisters, Geraldine Williams of Lebanon, Dorothy and her husband Charles Scott of Lebanon, and Nancy and her husband Kenneth Pack of Smithville. [3]
