Known as "Aunt Sallie". The daughter and last child born to: Archibald H. and Mary (Hayes) Hennessee. W/O James Spinks Rhodes, S/O James P. and Martha Margaret Jane (Reed) Rhodes. Married abt. 1902 in Texas. 5 Children were born to this union: May, James Archie, Maude, Lloyd and Leroy. In 1900 Sallie is found living with her mother Mary (Hayes)Hennessee and Sallie's single brother James Archibald Hennessee at Kaufman Co., TX. It is not known why Sallie was given the middle name of "Phillips", it is not a family name but prob. the surname of a family friend in Warren Co., TN.
Sallie, her husband James Spinks Rhodes, and his mother Martha Margaret Jane (Reed) Rhodes are buried at Letitia Cemetery which is adjoining the Letitia Baptist Church.
