- According to Cousin Claude Hugh, Hi-Bob was raised-up without a name. Hi-Bob first went to school and the teacher asked his name, he said, "Hi-Bob". The teacher assumed his given name was "Robert", ergo "Robert Hennessee".
Made telephone contact with him in 1991. Delighted to find him and he confirmed the origin of his name. He told me that later he added his middle name, "Phillip", just to avoid the "NMI" moniker while in the USN..DAH
