- Mrs. Nancy Smith Cole Goodgine age 70 of Sterling Heights, MI, (formerly of McMinnville, TN) died Saturday, August 25, 2012, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. She was born in Muncie, IN, was a retired cashier with Kroger, and worshiped locally with Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents William Butler and Margie Loreta Jordan Smith and her first husband Robert Renshaw Cole.
Survivors include her husband James Goodgine, Sterling Heights, MI, children David Lee Cole, Warren, MI, James K. and Tammy Cole, Madison Heights, MI, and Charles D. and Joan Cole, Morrison, TN, grandchildren Robert Lee Cole, Sheila Diann Cole, Charles James Renshaw Cole, Ashley Marie Cole, Matthew Jacob Cole, and Joshua David Cole, great-grandchildren Victoria Diann Cole, Robert Lee Dale Cole, Brady Cole, Hennessee Cope, and Jamie Mikula, a sister Sylvia and Les Smith, Kingston, TN, and a brother David and Diana Smith, Huntsville, AL.
Funeral Service is 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 30, 2012, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Christian Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Grange Hall Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Thursday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. [2]
