- Hi David,
I am Clara Jewel Harmon's daughter. She married James William Jacobsen. A second marriage for both of them but no children from the first marriages. She had to get relatives to say she was who she said she was when she tried to retire as they couldn't find a birth certificate for her. Apparently Walter gave her a name when he registered her birth that Clara Lula Harmon didn't like. Linnie Clara Jewel. My sister and I were there only two children.
I have more information for her brothers and sister. They are all deceased now.
Al (Alexander Layfette) married Olga Jeanne Buzak (adopted in Canada) Very interesting story. They had three sons, two are still living. One has done FamilyTreeDNA.
Syble married Arthur Dean Horton (twice) and had two children, both deceased. Sylvia Margaret Horton and Walter Dean Horton. Sylvia had four children and only one child is still alive. I am in contact with him. Dean had two sons and I'm in contact with one of them. Dean also adopted one daughter.
Walter Barton Harmon Junior married Opal Geraldine Kyler and they had four children. Three are still living and I'm in contact with them.
Hannah Elizabeth Duncan apparently changed the spelling of her last name. Many others who have done research spell the name, Dunkin.

Hi David,
I'm afraid I don't have much to share but will share what I have. I do have a wonderful picture of Hannah Elizabeth Duncan/Dunkin who was Willis Barton Harmon's wife. She is in the center of the picture with several of her children. I am descended from Willis Barton and Hannah through their son, Walter Barton Harmon. Walter was my grandfather. I have an Ancestry tree and have done their DNA test as has my sister. Our DNA info is also on GEDmatch.
My 1st cousin, Barton William Harmon, is on FamilyTreeDNA but we are working on getting his info transferred to GEDmatch.
After many years of poking around and finding bits and pieces here and there I have realized I am really horrible at finding anything new.
