Dear D.
I really enjoyed reading the infor. what a wonderful discovery for me and my family. I noticed you reported that I said Cordelia was killed by her boyfriend. This is only a family rumor and don't know if there is proof. Could you please make note that it is only rumor--however very strong rumor. I have two letter's to verify rumor. (Cordelia is the daughter of James Francis Marion and Tempy Dodson). One letter that reported the rumor was written in 1965 by a 3rd cousin of Charles Dodson named Catherine Caffin Lynn and the address on the letter was 140 North Central Avenue, Centerville, Tennessee, The second letter that confirms the rumor was written in 1963 by Charles F. Dodson, Attorney at Law, Worcester, Mass. As soon as I get to a fax Machine I can fax the letters if you would like a copy.
Also, I found a letter that was received Nov. 5, 1965 that was in possession of Marietta Crelia, daughter of William Crelia(who was Cassie, Casselia Crelia's son-Cassie is my Great Grandfather Sian's Sister) that connects the Crelia's with the Hennessee's.
It reads as follows:
March 12, 1919

Springtown, Texas
Dear Cousin,
I received your letter and was glad to hear from you. Pa has been dead five years 19th of last month. Ma has been dead year last Sept. Three of us children is here in McMinnville,
two about four miles out in the country and two in Chattanooga. All have been married. All are well except me, I can't walk a step. I have had the rheumatism and left my legs stiff. I have three children, two boys and one girl. the youngest 5 years old. AUNT MAXIE HENNESSEE has two children living --Tom and Poss. They live close to McMinnville. Uncle John Mooneyham is dead-he died about one year ago. Aunt Angeline is still living, she has two boys. Uncle John Dodson was her today he is talking of coming back to Texas.Times is dull here. Everything is high. We had a drought here last year. But people her made enough to live on. I think times is getting better here now.
I have been married eleven years this March. My oldest boys name is Everett, girl name is Edna. Baby name Gentry. Brother Murphy has two girs. Sister Martha has a girl and a boy. Martha husband has been dead about seven years. Chritia? was married 26 of December 1918 and his wife died the 5 of Jan. with the flu. He is in Chattanooga and sister Myrtle is with him. Sister Mary married Jim Peden, she lives close to McMinnville. I married a Chastain. I was sorrow to hear of Uncle Sian's Death. Will you please send me your pictures and would like to see all of you. I will be hoping to hear from you soon.

Hope you are the same write an tell me all the news tell Gus(Augustus) Lush(Lucian) and Lon(Alonzo) (Sian's son's) hello and to write to me tell Mattie(Crelia-Gould) to answer my letter that I wrote to her last year so no more at presant. Write soon and fail not.
