Hollace Neale Page, 60, of Cumberland County, passed away July 3, 2003. Funeral services were conducted July 7 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with burial in Smith's Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Loren Stephens officiated, with special music by the Church of Christ Singers.
Mr. Page was born April 3, 1943 in Cumberland County, TN, the son of Jay T. and Sara Lillie Watley Page.
He was retired after 32 years as director of Surgical Services at Cumberland Medical Center and was the current minister of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. He dearly loved studying and preparing messages and lessons for his worship services and the love and devotion for his grandchildren was endless. They were his favorite pastime and he greatly enjoyed watching them play ball.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Page of Smith's Chapel; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Neale and Glenda Charlene Page of Crossville; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Ann and Harold Joseph (Joey) Houston Word of Cherryville, NC; brothers, Jay E. Page of Crossville and Malcolm Page of Smith's Chapel; and grandchildren, Charles William Harris, Taylor Morgan Harris, Sara Page Word, Amanda Michele Page, Joshua Todd Page, Christopher Sean Page and Jordan Blake Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay T. and Sara Lillie Page.
Pallbearers were Joey Word, J.T. Joshua Page, Chris Page, Donald Page, Eric Page and Lloyd Forsythe.
Honorary pallbearers were Jordan Houston and Royce Page. [2]
