Notes |
- Description: Harry Valentine Baker was born the son of Emmett Robert Baker [1948-1914] and Elizabeth Pinkerman Baker [1851-1910] in Platform, Rome Township, OH.
He married first Rosa White on July 4, 1905. She filed for divorce on grounds of adultery in Cabell County, WV in about 1915.
He then married Virginia Maude Belcher around the same time in Princeton, Mercer County, WV and had four children by her.
He then suddenly abandoned his family and took up with my maternal grandmother, Aribelle [later "Mary Elizabeth" though no deed poll or other legal record has ever been found] and they moved to several locations, eventually locating to Steubenville, Jefferson County, OH in 1929 where they resided the remainder of their lives.
They are both buried in Union Cemetery, Steubenville OH.
