Murfreesboro, TN resident and Warren County native Evelyn Nelson Rigsby, age 92, was born March 14, 1926 and died September 24, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN.
A retired clerk with Your Tot To Teen Shoppe and member of McMinnville First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James Cecil and Edna Louise McGee Nelson. She was married to Arless Nolan Rigsby who preceded her in death April 17, 2008. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Rigsby and sister, Gladys Nelson Cantrell.
Mrs. Rigsby is survived by two granddaughters, Michelle Rigsby and Melissa Rigsby; two great-grandsons, Austin and Chase Todd; daughter-in-law, Sandye Rigsby; sister, Jo Ann Jones and uncle, Allen McGee all of Murfreesboro, TN and aunt, Shirley (John) Douglass of McMinnville.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Mt. View Cemetery with Jeff Owens officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at High’s.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN
