Hall, Effie Frances, age 95, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006, at the Baptist Health Care Center. Effie was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and the Golden, age Sunday School Class. She retired from the Eaton Corporation working 22 years as a lock assembler. Effie was an avid quilter, homemaker and gardener. Preceded in death by her husband, Eaph Hall; daughter, Joy Ann Hall; brothers: Estel, Luskar and John Cornett; sister, Debbie Cassidy; son-in-law, Bob J. Smith. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Frances and Marvin Whitaker of Lenoir City; sons and daughters-in-law: Boyd and Kay Hall of McDonough, GA, Jim and Lynda Hall of Cookeville, E.B. (Bud) and Connie Hall of Lenoir City; grandchildren: Dennis Hall, Anita Roberts, Tim Hall, Josh Hall, Caleb Hall, Tony Hall and Tammy McKinley; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. Monday followed by funeral services at 8 p.m. in the Hawkins Chapel at 102 B Street in Lenoir City. Rev. Glenn C. Gamble will officiate. Family and friends will gather in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 1 p.m. Tuesday for graveside services and interment with the grandsons serving as pallbearers. Hawkins Chapel in Lenoir City is serving the family of Effie Hall.
