Notes |
- Biography
Christian was probably his parent's third son. He served in the militia during the Revolution. Moved with his family from VA to Knox County, TN probably after his daughter Elizabeth was born(~1798) and was included on the tax list there by 1812 with 550 acres. He was about 60 when he died.
Sources
Birth date based on omission from his father's 1773 taxables, and his inclusion in the 1777 militia. Both situations normally required the subject to be at least age 16. [3]
