    • Charles T. Carter was born in Istachatta, Florida. As a child his parents lived in Michigan, his mother went home to Florida each time she had children (she had 4 boys).

      He later met Mihlon Hennessee in Detroit. They were married for over 50 years and at the time of his death he had 4 children, 10 grand children, 6 great grand children. He survived prostate cancer but later lost the battle with colon cancer. [1]
