Notes |
- Amos Edward Womack was the son of Thomas Womack (1794-1865) and his wife, Elizabeth (possibly Blanton). He was a Confederate soldier and served with the Tennessee 23rd Infantry. He married Malinda Davis in Warren County, Tennessee on October 6, 1865.
According to the 1900 census, Amos and his wife Malinda had seven children. However, the names of only five of these children were listed on census records. They were Thomas Anderson (b. 1866), Elizabeth(b. 1869), John N. (b. 1870), William Pink (b. 1874), and Jasper Burrell (b. 1887). [2]
