Nina Louise Hennessee, age 75, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.


BRISTOL, Tenn. – Nina Louise Hennessee, age 75, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 15, 1929, in Sullivan County, Tenn., and was a daughter of the late George and Catherine Baines Cheathem.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hennessee, and her brother, George Cheathem Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Avis E. Stephany of Indianapolis; her son, Glenn Hennessee of Bristol Tennessee; granddaughter, Hannah Stephany, and a grandson, Drew Stephany, both of Indianapolis; brother, Richard Cheathem of Bristol; sisters-in-law, Opal Chamberlain of Santa Maria, Calif., and Irma Bottorff of Belleview, Fla.; brothers-in-law, H.D. Hennessee and Paul Hennessee, both of Belleview, and Wyndell Hennessee of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, in the Akard Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Freddie Miller officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, in Rooty Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Akard Funeral Home prior to the service.

Nina married Philip Patrick "Chiz" Hennessee in 1951 in Bristol, Sullivan County, Tennessee. Philip (son of Patrick Phylander "Pat" Hennessee and Lena Grace Rogers) was born on 27 Aug 1924 in Coffee County, Tennessee; died on 26 Jan 2000 in Bristol, Sullivan County, Tennessee; was buried in Rooty Branch Cemetery, Bristol, Sullivan County, Tennessee.
