My Logan brick wall is currently William Logan (b 1780-1784, probably North Carolina). Two of his daughters, Permelia and Elizabeth, married two Byas brothers – Abram Landres Byas (b 1815) and Asa Harold Byas (b 1818) respectively. I believe their father was Robert Byas but I have conflicting data about their mother. I was recently steered to Nathan Byars (b 1749) as Robert’s probable father and now I find additional Byars/Byas to Logan connections. Nathan Byars’ second wife was apparently Delphy Logan and a John Byars (a son of this Nathan and a brother to Robert) married a Mary “Plassey” Logan. I would appreciate any help I can get in better identifying these three women -- mother of Abram and Asa, second wife of Nathan, and wife of John. Any additional details on these families and the relationships between the Byars/Byas and Logan families would likewise be appreciated. I would be glad to make available any research data I have.
