Notes |
- Hey David, how are you doing? Yes I still work on this every day.
Right now I am working on the Reynolds. While cleaning out drawers I found an email my mother had sent and I sure don’t ever remember seeing this but it says that after my grandmother Drusie was born, that it was a difficult birth and the Dr. told her mother Nancy Jane Evans that she could never become pregnant again or it would kill her.
So she “cut him off” as my mother put it. At first Thomas Monroe “went out” on her, then finally abandoned the family never to be seen again. Nancy grieved and felt it was her fault which angered my grandmother.
Then Certie Reynolds, my mothers fav aunt who lived with them told her that her dad fathered a kid after Drusie with an unknown woman and named him Thomas Reynolds too. I don’t believe they were married. It was stated by Certie that he lived in Huntsville and she was going to go look for him but never did.
I have worked and worked on finding out if he exists and if there are descendants but so far can’t find this Thomas. There are several there but I can trace their parents and it isn’t Thomas Monroe. Let me know if any of this is familiar. It’d be incredible to find descendants!
