Written as recorded:
earliest Turner connection to the Everetts comes from the 1705 nuncupative will of John Turner of Isle of Wight County, Virginia. On his deathbed John Turner made an oral (nuncupative) will. The witnesses to the will reported it at court and it was recorded there. In his will John Turner left land to his granddaughter Anne Everett.
