Notes |
- He was the son of Isaac & Talitha (Cloud) Cantrell. He grew up on Wolf Island Creek and on 25 Nov 1794 he bought, from his brother, Charles, 100 acres of land which lay along this creek.
He married Axy Cummins about 1795. In March of 1796 he bought another 151 acres. On 1 June 1798 he bought yet another 212 acres.
He died within the next two years. Axy and the two children, Elizabeth and Asa, were on the 1800 census for Rockingham County. His children were mentioned in his fathers Will in 1805. [3]
