Notes |
- In June 1861, he enlisted as a Private in Capt. Robert Cantrell's Co. "C",
23rd Regiment, Tennessee Volunteer Infantry, CSA. He was one of the first
of the family to give their life for their belief in the War Between The
States. He was killed in action, October 18, 1861.
