    • Birth: Feb. 5, 1859
      Death: Mar. 15, 1934

      Samuel succumbed to apoplexy. He never married. The death certificate had a couple errors; his middle name was listed as Edward, his mother was listed as "unknown." Samuel's burial was listed as "Liberty" but tradition has it that he was interred within Salem Baptist Cemetery. There is no known headstone.
