      Elizabeth McNeill was born in 1761 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, the child of Thomas and Ann. She married Edmund R. (1776) Roberts in 1775 in North Carolina. They had a large family during their marriage. She died as a young mother in 1795 in North Carolina, at the age of 34.
