- Arms Apartments resident Mrs. Minnie Novella Mabe, 70, died of an extended illness in McMinnville Health Care Center at 7 p.m. Thursday.
A native of DeKalb County and member of the Presbyterian Church, she was the wife of Noah D. Mabe and a daughter of the late Wesley and Josie Underhill Harmon.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter, James Norman Mabe and Mrs. Elizabeth J. Lokey, both of McMinnville.
She is also survived by a brother Roscoe Harmon of Dibrell, a half-brother and two half-sisters, Wesley Harmon Jr., Mrs. Clara Mae Bookout, both of Hendersonville, Mrs. Ruth Nickols of Woodbury, 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services were held in McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Graveside services was held at Whorton Springs Cemetery, Smithville, Dekalb Co.,TN.
