Notes |
- Sometime after the Revolution he went to Spartanburg Co.,SC, where he married
Sarah Shed. He was in the War of 1812 and displayed great courage and
bravery at the "Battle of the Horseshoe". After this war, he went to
Tennessee, where he received grants of land in Warren County, which are
recorded at Sparta.
