      * GABREL WASHBURN *

      The following information is from an article by Miles Philbeck in the November 2008 issue of "The Bulletin of the Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County". The first two children are probably by a first wife, Elizabeth(?). The rest are the children of Gabriel and Priscilla Jones Washburn. Please add them to the memorial for Gabriel Washburn. Thanks

      Gabriel was documented as a Revolutionary Patriot as a civil servant. He was not a soldier.
      The grave site was surrounded by an iron pipe fence and unkept with weeds almost covering some of the stones. That fence has since been removed and the area cleared.

      Children of Gabriel and Elizabeth(?):

      Elizabeth Washburn Morris (1776 - )
