    • McMinnville resident and Grundy County native Ollie Mae Rogers, 91, died Feb. 17 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.

      A homemaker and a member of Philadelphia, The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Henry M. and Savannah L. Smartt Killian; and was preceded in death by brothers, Willie, James, Glenn and R.T. Killian; and sisters, Iola Cagle, Martha Scott and Mary Killian.

      She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Jennetta and Bill Hollis, Nadine and Hershel Hillis, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jamie Hollis of Murfreesboro, Conethia Cantrell, Nick Hollis, Greg Hollis and Kim Chisam, all of McMinnville; six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Estell Roberts of McMinnville.

      Services were held Tuesday at High's Chapel with Glyn Killian, Barry Whitaker and David Frazier officiating. Burial followed at Philadelphia Cemetery.

      High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
