The marriage occurred in DeKalb Co. TN in Aug of 1863. They had 2 children; Louisa Kansas Roberts and Emily F. Roberts. Louisa Kansas Roberts is my great-grandmother. I worked for a very long time to determine which Joseph W. Roberts of White and surrounding counties that married my gg-grandmother Nancy Jane Love Meggerson but I found, and and have, a copy of a letter that convinced me that Joseph W, the husband of Sarah Underwood, is the right one.
