- Ruby Eileen Jordan Cosgray, 76, of Delaware, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at her home.
She was born June 24, 1936, in New Dover to Milton and Idella Mae (Harrington) Jordan.
She resided most of her life in Delaware and attended Frank B. Willis High School.
She was a retired employee of Ranco, Denison Abex, Meijer and Walmart.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.
Ruby was an awesome poker and black jack player.
She is survived three daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Leasure, Tracey (Russ) Merrin and Beth Ann (John) Bumpus; two sons, Roger Postell Jr. and Michael Ray Sr.; grandchildren, James Hennessee Jr., Nathan Leasure, Christopher Leasure, Kent Bumpus, Caitlin and Lindsay Merrin and Michael Ray Jr., April Ray, Jasmine Ray and James Ray, Roger and Madison Postell; great-grandchildren, Tyler Hennessee, Abigail Hennessee and another to join the family in Dec. 2013; and a sister, Mary Lou (Roger) Thompson Ragland, Ariz.
She was preceded in death in Jan. 1999, by her husband, Robert Lee Cosgray, whom she married Jan. 6, 1979 and son, James M. Hennessee December 1999; and two brothers, Frank and John Jordan.
The family wishes to express their sincere heartfelt thanks to Ruby's doctors, nurses, respiratory and physical therapist for their care, friends at the VFW and Moose Lodge and all her friends for helping her to enjoy her life.
Visitation will be Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home. A graveside service and interment will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg with Deacon Frank Moore officiating.
