Query Text: I am attempting to find family history past Shadrack Martin. He was born in 1725 and died in 1803. He was married to either Jane Mertin McNees or Deliah Byars. He moved to Laurens, SC around 1772. He had 5 children: Martin Martin, John Martin, William Martin, Jean Martin and Margaret Martin. I am a descendent of Martin Martin. I am hoping to find out any further information regarding Shadrack Martin-his parents, where he was from, etc. My family believes he possibly immigrated here from Scotland or Ireland and changed his name from either MacMartin or O'Martin to Martin.
