  • Notes
    • Richard PENNINGTON (1752-1813) and wife Hannah BOONE PENNINGTON came to White Co., TN in 1811 with their son, Joshua PENNINGTON and his family. Joshua had a land grant there near Doyle (and now Bethlehem area). Richard Pennington was a Revolutionary War soldier who served at Capt. Enoch Osborn's Fort in Montgomery/Grayson Co., VA. Some descendants are planning on placing a memorial monument to Richard Pennington at Bethlehem Cemetery, where he most likely was interred December 21, 1813. If there are those descendants and families who are interested in having more information and participating, please write chairman Nell Beck Truitt, 1105 Riflecrest Avenue, Valrico, FL 33594-5836.
