Does anyone know if Charles L. Cobb, b. abt 1735 Bedford Cty. VA., m. Ann Walton b. 1729/30 VA.,- Thomas Cobb b. abt 1710 VA m. Susannah Unknown abt 1730, is in the Ambrose line, Pharoah line, the New England line or some other line.
I ask the same question about Susannah Cobb b. 1702, New Kent, VA, M. William Walton b. 25 Dec. 1700 New Kent, VA,- John Cobb b. abt 1676 Northampton Cty., VA M. Susannah Hughes, b. abt 1680.
Some folks refer to these cobbs as the Albermarle County Cobbs.

I think I may be of this line also. I have a Susannah Cobb that married William Walton. William Walton was born or baptised 25 Dec 1700, so I imagine Susannah was born about the same time period. I don't know who her parents are proof wise but I think it may be a John Cobb that married possiably a Susannah Hughes or an Addison. This John Cobb was born about 1691 in Bruton Parish, York County, Virginia and died ca 1758 in Goochland County Virginia. After William Walton's death Susannah married Claybourne Rice 18 Jan 1749. In William Walton's will he named a John Cobb who may have been Susannah's father or brother. John Cobb's father and mother is Ambrose and Elizabeth Pinkett Cobb. Does any of these names ring a bell with any of your genealogy. Have you found a Susannah that was born about 1700/1710?
