David, I can't provide sources at this moment, but my notes say that Charity was the d/o Caleb and Keziah Swindell and he was the son of John Swindell, Sr. and wife Mary.
We have that John,sr. children were: Zedekiah, Caleb, William, Josiah, John jr. Swindell.
John,jr. and Rebecca had: John, Joel, Ruth, Jonatham, Jobe, Joseph, Josiah, Isaac, Prudence, Rachel, Jessie.
I have been told that John,SR. was married to Mary McPherson and that they came in 1740 from Va.
Which Mason line are you descending from?
