      From "The Southern Standard", date unknown:

      "Austin P. Hennessee, 24, died in a Veterans Administration hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, Tuesday, October 16, of injuries suffered four days earlier when the car in which he was riding collided with a trailer truck in the Cleveland area.

      The body of the McMinnville native was returned here and funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Smyrna Church of Christ...Military rites at the grave were conducted by the American Legion-VFW burial squad.

      Hennessee, Navy veteran of World War II, was born in McMinnville Frebruary 2, 1927...At the time of death he was employed by the Diamond Magnesium Company in Cleveland."
