Edward Yager was first married to Mary A Green and together they had Mary E Virginia "Jennie" Yager, Edward Nathaniel Yager, and Adalaid Yager.
His second marriage was to Sallie Ann Smith and together they had five children and four of them survived into adulthood and had families. Their youngest, Martha Ellen Yager, died in infancy. Three of the four surviving children have been linked - Nancy Emory Yager Hill, Frank Reed Yager (later changed to the spelling Yeager), and George Benjamin Yager. William L (Bud) Yager died in 1891 and he married Jennie Jackson White and they had three girls. Bertha Mary Yager Stalcup, Beulah, and Millie T. Jennie Yager later remarried John H Starnes and together they had a child Virginia...
