- Funeral services were held Thursday, December 30, 1948, for James Thomas Fisher, 60, in the Hulbert Baptist Church with burial in the Hulbert I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Green Funeral Home of Wagoner.
Pallbearers were Jimmie Rogers, Ernest Shankles, Raymond Teague, Ralph Wilson, Plez Collins and Aubry Jackson.
Besides his wife, Fisher is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Flora Hair of Hulbert; three sons, Herbert of Longview, Texas, Floyd of Port Natches, Texas and Homer of Williams, Oregon; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
