I am trying to assist my sister in law with her genealogy. Her grandfather
was Adolphus Ashberry (Dolphus) Clonts, b. 1 Dec 1894, d. 17 Mar 1960, in
Atlanta, GA. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin, Spalding Co.,
GA. He married about 1936 Lena B. Baker, (d/o Jesse Beal Baker and Etta
England of Gordon Co., GA. Lena died 1988 in Hall Co., GA. Dolphus'
parents were Samuel A. Clonts and Nancy Jane Godfrey. They married 19 Jul
1891 in Fannin Co., GA. No record of them in Fannin County has been found
except the marriage record. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have
ordered a death certificate for Dolphus, but have not received it.
Thank you in advance.
