- Services for Archie Crabtree, 91, of Athens will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dunn Church of Christ.
Burial will be at Dunn Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
He died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at East Texas Medical Center in Athens.
He was born Feb. 2, 1908, in Lockney. He married Ivo Byars on May 22, 1927, in Ira. He was a retired Church of Christ minister, who was a pastor in Dunn, Athens, Palacios and Aransas Pass. He moved from Dunn to Athens in 1990.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter, Betty Jo Eades.
Survivors include a son, Harvey of Port Lavaca; a daughter, Glenda Fulton of Athens; a sister, Juanita Burney of Sunset Beach; a brother, Lee of Midland; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. [2]
