MRS. HENNESSEE DIES ON SUNDAY
FUNERAL SERVICES SLATED TO BE HELD AT 2 O'CLOCK IN AFTERNOON.
Mrs. C. A. Hennessee, wife of a city filling station operator, and resident of Lawton since 1907, died at 6 a.m. Sunday at the family residence at 131 F. Avenue
Although her death resulted directly from a sudden heart attack Mrs. Hennessee had been ill for about a week with pneumonia.
Miss Minnie Lou George was born January 13, 1891 at Maysville, Okla. She came to Lawton in 1907 and was married to C. A. Hennessee August 13, 1908.
Mrs. Hennessee was a member of the Methodist church. She had a wide acquaintance and a large number of friends.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Ralph, city patrolman at Lake Lawtonka, Roy and Hibob, and one daughter, Miss Lorene, at home; three brothers, Will George of Cement; Alfred and Jess, both of Ringling; and one sister, Mrs John Matlock, Cyril.
Funeral services were scheduled at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Lawton Funeral home chapel with Rev. W. B. Slack, pastor of the Centenary Methodist church, officiating. Burial was to be made in Highland Cemetery.
Pallbearers selected were Virgil Thompson, Tommy Biles, B. A. Allen, Joe Watson, "Slim" Dillingham and Henry Cannon. [3]
