    • Graveside service for Thomas (Tom) Martin Hennessee, 85, of Lawton will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tony Elkins, pastor of Abundant Life Church, officiating.

      Mr. Hennessee passed away on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013, in Lawton.

      Burial will be under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

      Tom was born on April 19th, 1928, in Dallas County, Texas to Charles Elgin and Barbara (Conley) Hennessee. He came to Lawton at the age of 14 with his family. He married Janell Pettijohn in Wichita Falls, Texas. Tom served in the United States Army from 1950 until 1952 during the Korean War. He had been an aircraft mechanic and owned and operated Hennessee Automotive for over 45 years. He enjoyed gardening and loved tinkering and fixing anything that needed repairing.

      He is survived by his wife, Janell Hennessee of the home; four sons, Thomas Hennessee and his wife, Cookie, of Fort Worth, Texas, Martin Hennessee, Richard Hennessee, and Steven Hennessee, all of Lawton; two grandchildren, Tamra Jones and her husband, Cliff, of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Lisa Hennessee of Lawton; two great grandchildren, Alivia Jones and Xavier Hennessee; two sisters, Mary Ruth of Oklahoma City and Rosie Mae of Corpus Christi, Texas.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy Jack and Charles Hennessee.

      Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. [3]
