Hi there cousin.
I think who you are looking at would be Henry Kelby Byars who married Laura Massey on 1-8--1851 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. Henry Kelby is one of my grt'grandfathers.
Henry was born 6-5-1829 in Jefferson County Alabama. His father was Nathan Byars and his mother was Elizabeth Reavis. Henry and Laura had 12 children:
Mary Janes b 2-22-1852, in Brimingham. and died 12-28-1916 and is buried in Union Hill Cemetery in Birmingham,
James Nathan Byars born 10-7-1853 also in Birmingham and died 9-4-1922 and is buried in the same cemetery as Mary Jane.
Rebecca born 3-16-1855 in Birmingham and died in 1855, so she died as a young baby. Thomas Joshua "Dock" Byars born 10-5-1857 and died 11-27-1926 in Birmingham, buried in the same cemetery, Union Hill.
Sum Eugene Byars born 3-29-1859 in Birmingham and died 2-28-1895 and is buried in Union Hill.
Harriett Andora "Dora" Byars, born 1-31-1861 in Birmingham and died 7-7-1936 in Helena, Shelby County, Alabama and is buried in Union Hill Cemetery,
Rhoda Eva Byars, born 9-12-1864 in Birmingham and died 6-15-1934, Laura L.L. Byars born 1-13-1867 in Birmingham Alabama, but cannot find where she died.
Henry Merrell "Hank" Byars, born 2-23-1869 in Birmingham and died 9-13-1935 in Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee,
Almoth Walter Byars, born 3-6-1871 in Birmingham, and died 5-5-1931 and is buried in Union Hill cemetery.
Jesse Judson "Jud" byars born 4-27-1872 in Birmingham, and died after 1960 and is buried in Tuscaloosa Alabama; then there was
Rosaleen "Ros" Byars born 3-15-1875 in Jefferson Alabama, and died 12-1-1901.
Hope this is what you need, now we can go further if you wish.
