- James Whitlock was the son of Rev. Thomas and Susan (Webb) Whitlock of Wilson County, Tennessee. James first married Mary "Polly" West on January 15, 1813 in Wilson County, Tennessee. His second marriage was to Sarah Freeman on July 25, 1857 per Warren County, Tennessee Marriage Records. [4]

I'm looking for ancestors of James Whitlock born 1790 in Virginia and died about 1870 in Warren Co. He married Sarah Freeman July 25 1857. She was born about 1830 in North Carolina. Their children are Sarah Jane, James T., Bettie Ann, Susan M., Mary F. and Margaretta M. (my great grandmother). Any help would be appreciated.
