although it has been known for hundreds of years (well, I don;t know if it has been hundred of years lol) Abraham Cantrell (who is one of my Great-great-great-grandfathers on the Cantrell side..lol) was mentioned in William Robbs will....he was indeed married to Jane Robbs or Jennie as some has said.....Jane Robbs Cantrell's parents were William Robbs and Susanah Watson......of spartanburg...Christie and several others has stated that Abraham was married to a miss Collins which is incorrect....Jane Robbs Cantrell had already passed away before 1841 I am assuming in Warren County, Tennessee as Abraham joined one of the many folks that took off to Dade County, Missouri in 1848 ...and died in Wright County/Webster County, Missouri....William Watson Cantrell of Warren County, Tennessee was named for both his grandparents.......

After visiting the McMinnville Library, we mailed a loose-leaf Lane notebook to the librarian, requesting that the pages be available for others to copy; and that addresses & comments of other Lane Researchers be noted and forwarded to us.

We had previously contributed a short sketch of the Endymion Baker & Jane(Campbell)LANE family of 12 children to the Warren County Story published in 2,000.. Nancy Amanda "Mandy" b 10 Dec 1840 is our challenge; we hope that her descendants will contact us.

One Nancy Amanda proved to be the child of JOSEPH WARREN LANE b1785 in Washington Co,TN., whose wife might have been Jane's sister.

The 1850 Warren County Census base is used by a diverse group of Lanes. Perhaps a data base of all surnames could be the vehicle which would aid us researchers to cross-reference ?

My husband was the 3rd Lane to donate blood to the WFT yDNA project. I recommend it at this time because there is a current reduction in price.
