My name is Bobby G. Malone and I am eagerly awaiting the results of my YDNA test which Family Tree tells me should be completed on or before January 17. I would like to hear from any one who has the DNA test done or is thinking about the test.

To get a head start on the YDNA results, I am listing my Malone ancestors along with some branch families by marriage in hopes of finding new relatives.

My line is from Dekalb County, TN.

My great-great Grandfather was Samuel Malone who married Annie Chapman.

My Great Grandfather was James Cecil Malone, b 1826, d 1926, who married Frankie Elizabeth Askew b 1831, d 1938.

My Grandfather was William Franklin Malone b 1863 d 1936 who married Eliza Jane Ayers b 1870, d 1936.

My Father was Willie Clarence Malone b 1895, d 1985 who married Mamie Lee Sandlin b 1898, d 1985 .

I am trying to find any information possible on William C. Malone b. 1820 married to Ellen _____. The census reveals that they were still living in the 17th district (Walkers Creek) in 1880. Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

William married Rachel Suzanne Ayers in ~1807. Rachel was born about 1797 in North Carolina; died after 1860 in Alexandria, DeKalb County, Tennessee. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
